Transfer In

You can transfer domain names at 82.com. However, according to the regulations of ICANN and CNNIC, the default validity period of the transferred domain name is extended by one year.

Rules

You need to follow the following rules to transfer a domain name to 82.com:

• The domain name registration time is ≥ 60 days.
• The domain name validity period must be ≥ 15 days.
• During the grace period and redemption period, you need to wait 24-48 hours after paying the fee to redeem it before you can transfer it.
• The default validity period of the transferred domain name is extended by one year.
• The transfer lock of the domain name has been closed at the original registrar.
• The transfer waiting period is expected to be 1 to 7 days, depending on the release speed of the original registrar.
• It must not be in dispute, transfer restriction status ordered by the president or court.

Transfer in process

1. Enter the domain name management interface.

   • Log in to your 82.com account.
   • Visit the Transfer In option.

2. Fill in the domain name and the domain name transfer code obtained from the original registrar.

   • Format: domain name (space) transfer code. For batch transfer, enter one domain name and its corresponding transfer code per line.
   • Up to 500 domain names can be transferred at a time.

3. Select the verified domain name information template. (The transfer domain name information template is currently optional)

4. Confirm your transfer order and click "Submit".

5. Enter the order settlement page and click Pay.

   • The default payment method is USDT.
   • If the transfer fails, it will be returned to the original route.

6. After the payment is successful, your transfer application will be submitted and you need to wait patiently.

   • The transfer time depends on the original registrar, and it usually takes 5-7 days to complete the transfer.
   • Once the transfer is completed, it will be directly minted into NFT on the chain. No user needs to pay for the minting.
